Ash and Scribbs are called to the aftermath of a wedding where the bride's father has mysteriously been electrocuted in a carp pond and unsurprisingly there is no shortage of potential motives for his murder.
When Ash and Scribbs are sent in to solve the murder of beautiful, young dancer Sandra Foy (Rachel Grant), they are immersed in the heady, passionate world of Salsa.
Ash and Scribbs are lured into the world of canine therapy when the proprietor of Middleford dog day-care centre, Christine Archer (Sonia Ritter), is brutally murdered while out walking a motley selection of dogs.
Ash and Scribbs are called to Birch Grove, an old folk's residential home, to investigate the murder of a one-time 50s singing sensation, JJ (Frank Barrie). JJ is found dead in the bath by his wife Cindy (Michele Dotrice).
