The Glasgow Garden Festival and Mayfest provide dramatic settings for Taggart and Jardine’s investigation of a series of brutal murders. It seems that the Glasgow loan sharks are being repaid with more than they bargained for.
The body of a woman is discovered in a wood and Taggart and Jardine are called to investigate. All outward appearances and forensic evidence suggest suicide but she has made several appointments in her diary for the day she died.
