The original duo: the seasoned, straight shooting DCI Tom Barnaby and his younger, ambitious sidekick, Gavin Troy. While Barnaby takes his time sifting through each case, Troy is quick on the trigger and prone to jumping to conclusions. Together, they make a rather formidable pair.
